Brooklyn nine-nine and The Vampire Diaries the stars have teamed up for a new horror movie, it has been reported.
Deadline revealed that Stephanie Beatriz and Paul Wesley have signed on for a movie titled history of evilin which they’ll play a couple who flee the state and hide out in a seemingly safe house, only to turn out to be connected to some sort of Underground Railroad…and evil!
It will be a Shudder Original in most major territories, with shorts and music video director Bo Mirhosseni behind the camera.

Shudder Vice President of Global Acquisitions and Coproductions Emily Gotto reportedly said, “We are thrilled to be working with XYZ and Two & Two Pictures as we continue to shine a light on new and emerging storytellers in this genre, and the Bo’s exciting debut film is no exception.
“We are thrilled to have talents such as Stephanie and Paul on board to bring these dynamic characters to life and we look forward to sharing the film with the members of Shudder.”
The film is the first in a partnership between XYZ Films and Two & Two Pictures that aims to employ first-time and second-time directors from underrepresented communities.
Besides its role in Brooklyn nine-nineBeatriz starred in In the heights and Disney Encantowhich is pretty much everywhere at the moment, with “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” getting particularly huge, notably becoming the first Disney song to top the UK Singles Chart.

She also recently lent her voice to the role of Batwoman in a DC animated film, speaking to digital spy on the process of making her superhero debut and whether she would like to reprise the role in the future.
