BUFFALO – Wright County Grand Jury Indicted Gregory Ulrich on one charge of premeditated 1st degree murder and four counts of attempted premeditated 1st degree murder following the February shooting at a Buffalo clinic.
Ulrich, 68, is accused of entering the Allina clinic on February 9, 2021 and opening fire, killing Lindsay Overbay and injuring four others.
Wright County Attorney Brian Lutes says he was delayed in summoning the grand jury until it was determined that Ulrich was competent to face the charges. His jurisdiction was determined on August 11 and the grand jury handed down the indictments on Friday.
Ulrich remains on bail of $ 5 million with conditions or $ 10 million without conditions. He is due to return to court on October 18.
