The big horror release of the week is A24 and director Ti West Xhit theaters last month and now headed to digital outlets for Premium VOD rental this week.

In the same way Xwe’re getting FIVE more new horror movies this week!

Here’s all the new horror heading our way April 12-17, 2022.


After making over $11 million in theaters, Ti West and A24the slasher movie X returns home, first to the A24 Virtual Screening Room and later in the week to traditional PVOD.

You can watch X in the A24 screening room on Tuesday, April 12 at 9 p.m. EST, with the new film from Ti West then available on VOD Premium on Thursday, April 14.

The Blu-ray and DVD will be released later on May 24, 2022.

In the new film, “A group of actors set out to make an adult film in rural Texas under the noses of their reclusive hosts – an elderly couple with a farm and boarding house to rent. But when the couple catches its young guests in the act, the actors find themselves in a desperate fight for their lives in this tantalizing slasher from writer-director Ti West.

Meagan wrote in her review: “X is a crowd-pleasing doozy when it comes to brutal bloodshed and murder. Some deaths leave you feeling uneasy, and others will leave you giggling with joy. A sequel to 2015 Wyrmwood: The Road of the Dead, Wyrmwood: Apocalypse is coming to Blu-ray in May, but first XYZ Films is bringing the sequel to VOD on Thursday, April 14.

The sequel “follows a soldier in a zombie-infested Australian wasteland who has dedicated his life to hunting down and capturing survivors for the Surgeon General in hopes of finding a cure.”

“Rhys lives in the zombie-infested wasteland. His job is to capture civilians and deliver them to what’s left of the army. When Rhys captures a half-zombie-half-human Grace, he comes to believe that she is the key to ending the apocalypse.

Asylum and Tubi take the high seas for the last Tubi-Original horror movie Titanic 666which will be exclusively available on the Tubi streaming service this Friday, April 15.

Annalynne McCord (Circumcision) stars in Titanic 666next to Keesha Sharp (Power Book II: Ghost), Lydia Heard (Nation-Z) and Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica).

Elisa Cuthbert (wax house) returns to the horror genre in an all-new horror movie The cavewhich arrives in select theaters as well as Shudder on Friday, April 15.

In the film, written and directed by Brendan Muldowney

“Keira Woods’ (Elisha Cuthbert) daughter mysteriously disappears in the basement of their new home. She soon discovers that there is an ancient and powerful entity controlling their home that she will have to face or risk losing her family’s soul forever.

Eoin Macken, Abby Fitz and Dylan Fitzmaurice-Brady also star.

Trace wrote in his SXSW review, “It’s wonderful to see Elisha Cuthbert back in the genre and Muldowney manages to squeeze in some real thrills in the third act, but it’s not enough to earn a strong recommendation. It’s a skillfully made film, but in an age where people have endless viewing options from streaming services, competent is no longer enough.

Prior to appearing in “Stranger Things 4”, Robert Englund goes first to netflix in a new original horror film choose or diewhich will begin broadcasting this Friday, April 15.

choose or die starts after a young coder (Iola Evans) unleashes a lost 80s survival horror game and unleashes a hidden curse that tears reality apart, forcing it to make terrifying decisions and face deadly consequences. Asa Butterfield also stars.

Also released this Friday, Ben Jagerit is (Corbin Nash, Paddy Lincoln’s Gang) Room 203 will be released here in the United States in limited theaters and on VOD platforms.

“The film follows two housemates who are tormented by the vengeful spirits who inhabit their Gothic-style rented apartment, which contains an ornate centerpiece.”

the Room 203 molded features Francesca Xuereb (Murmur, For all time), Viktoria Vinyarska (Highway to Havasu) and Eric Wiegand (from Hulu foreigners).

The film in English is adapted from Nanami Kamon’s Japanese novel published by Kobunsha. The screenplay is by John Poliquin (pirate), Jagger and Nick Richey (low low).


On the small screen this week, the mystery series with Amazon’s Josh Brolin “Outer Beach” premieres on April 15, while “Fear the Walking Dead” returns to AMC on Sunday, April 17.
