Tactical combat mechanics

Digimon Survive has tactical combat in which combat is turn-based. The opponent and the player will have only one chance per turn in which they can practice their skill or defense against the opponent’s attack. Player or opponent’s attack will cost Stamina or SP. SP is limited and all Digimon attacks will cost SP and different skills will cost different amounts of SP. Along with SP, the Digimon’s health in battle is rated as HP. Just above the SP bar. The battle winning rule is simple, the first to knock down the other Digimon’s HP will win.

In the battle arena you will see blocks at the start of the match, the blocks will show the area of the battle and when you have your turn you can also move around the area by selecting the block once per turn then attack with it skill or defense of your choice. When you have the turn, you will be able to move your Digimon, choose to attack with the desired skill, use an item during your turn, evolve during your turn when Digimon triggers, can also talk with the opponent’s Digimon, and try to befriend him, or you can end the turn to pass the turn to the opponent.

In order to deal damage faster and win the fight, always end the turn on your first turn because the end turn without attacking will allow you to block the opponent’s attack and the opponent’s attack n ‘will only inflict half the actual damage. Once the enemy attacked, they would have lost SP and they also wouldn’t be able to defend our attack because they just attacked. Choose the Attack skill to deal damage to your opponent. You can also place yourself closer to the opponent and then attack, but this can also harm you because, on the next turn, you will also be closer to him. Once you completely deplete his HP, the fight will be over and you will win the match.

You can also try talking with the Digimon and the Digimon will ask you three questions for you to answer and for each question you will have four options. Only one of these options will be correct and when you select the correct option from the question, the bar will fill up on the Digimon’s head. If you choose the wrong option, the bar will shrink and losing the bar will end the conversation, then you’ll have to reload the checkpoint or save file to start over. Once you are able to answer all three questions correctly, three bars will be filled on the Digimon’s head, and you will have the choice of befriending the Digimon or requesting items.
