‘Halo’ Season 1 Coming to 4K UHD, Blu-Ray and DVD in November – Cinelinx

fans of the Halo The TV series will soon be able to get their hands on a home video release of the first season.

It was revealed that the first season of Paramount + Halo the series will arrive in 4K UHD, Blu-Ray and DVD on November 15, 2022. The series will be released in a five-disc set absolutely loaded with special features. The entire Season 1 set is currently available for pre-order on Amazon and Best Buy.

The huge list of special features for the first season of Halo can be found below:

Halo Season 1 Special Features (Physical):

  • Dissecting the Battle of Madrigal – The Halo team takes you behind the scenes to unravel one of the most important moments in the series, the Battle of Madrigal.
  • Become Spartans – Our larger than life heroes introduce themselves and share their thoughts on the process of becoming Spartans. Master Chief, Kai, Riz, Vannak, and Soren reminisce about their memories from training and starting bootcamp to the epic result we see on screen. Showrunner Steven Kane and director Otto Bathurst join the cast of Spartan to reveal the challenges and joy of creating near-perfect superhumans encountering imperfect human emotions for the very first time.
  • Halo Costume Design – Costume designer Giovanni Lipari provides insight into the creation of the 5 different worlds featured in HALO: SEASON ONE. Giovanni not only shares the process of creating the costumes and styles for each of the planets, but also provides the background and history of the different groups and their connection to each other.
  • Halo Weapons and Vehicles – The Master Chief’s assault rifle or the sound of a warthog? Two iconic tools from the Halo universe. Property Master Andrew Orlando walks us through the steps of making Covenant and Spartan weapons, from initial design to final construction. Sophie Becher, Production Designer, joins us to share details about the newly invented spaceships from this one-of-a-kind universe. There’s no Halo without the sound and look of warthogs, and Photo Vehicle Coordinator Parádi Sándor Jr. joins us to tell us how this and other Halo vehicles were made.
  • The world of Halo – Join us for a conversation with Executive Producer Kiki Wolfkill, Director Otto Bathurst, Showrunner Steven Kane, Pablo Schreiber and other cast members as they discuss how the story and characters of this epic game science fiction have been brought to the screen.
  • Adapt Halo – Halo’s production teams give viewers a taste of how visual effects, clever direction, and purposeful set design were used to create the otherworldly look and feel of the show. They share how each frame is unique and immersive, and built on a grand scale.
  • Alliance Culture – Take an exclusive tour alongside remarkable talent, visual effects artists, and production crews as they show us how they brought the setting and aliens that make up The Covenant to life.
  • The Lake of Eternal Life: A Song from the Halo Score – A behind-the-scenes look at the studio recording of the funeral song “The Lake of Eternal Life” sung by Jaram Lee.
  • The making of Cortana – Actress Jen Taylor talks about her character’s emotional journey throughout the series and reveals how the filmmakers brought Cortana to life on screen.
  • Halo The Series: Declassified 101 – 109
    • 101 – In this first episode of Halo the Series: Declassified, Sydnee is joined by the Master Chief himself, Pablo Schreiber, Master Chief’s highly advanced AI, Cortana, and professional AEW wrestler Adam Cole.
    • 102 – Host Sydnee Goodman takes viewers behind the scenes of episode 2 (“Unbound”) with actor Bokeem Woodbine, director Otto Bathurst, plus lucky fans who got to see the premiere on the carpet red from Halo the Series.
    • 103 – We dive into episode 3, “Emergence”. Here, host Sydnee Goodman chats with star Charlie Murphy (Makee). Plus, learn how the series built one of its most impressive sets and meet some of the most passionate Halo fans in the world.

    • 109 – In the latest installment of Halo the Series: Declassified, host Sydnee Goodman welcomes executive producer Kiki Wolfkill and executive producer/showrunner Steven Kane to dive into all the big events so far. Plus, enjoy a thank you from the cast and crew and an insightful discussion on how to reflect the real world in sci-fi.

The synopsis describes Halo series as follows:

After years of human civil war and growing political unrest, the very future of humanity is threatened when our outermost colonies encroach on the sacred worlds of the Alliance – a fanatically powerful alliance of alien species. As the Covenant destroy world after human world – only one soldier slows their progress – a cybernetically enhanced “Spartan” super-soldier, the Master Chief. But as the unbelievable mystery of the Covenant’s true ambition and the secrets of its own enigmatic past converge, it will then have to decide if humanity is a cause worth saving.
