Jack Quaid went undercover at Comic-Con in a clever cosplay

The boys Star Jack Quaid has revealed the clever disguise he uses to get around Comic-Con.

The Hughie Campbell actor was present at the annual convention this weekend and decided to salute his involvement in the Scream franchise by dressing up as Ghostface.

Quaid shared the look on his Instagram page along with a series of photos and clips, writing, “Gotta walk the floor a bit at #SDCC. Good times!”.

In the recent fifth Scream release, the actor played Richie Kirsch – who was revealed to be one of the two Ghostface killers in the film – and he shared last month that he had prepared for his role by making himself new undercover, this time impersonating a Reddit user in 2017 star wars film The Last Jedi.

The company was referring to director Rian Johnson’s meta involvement in Scream as the director of a controversial film in the universe stab 8.

Quaid confirmed: “FYI: unlike Richie, I loved TLJ and the people who came to his defense after I posted this warmed my nerd heart.”

Following the film, a sixth outing is in the works, which is expected to bring back stars Courteney Cox, Melissa Barrera, Jenna Ortega, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding, along with Hayden Panettiere as Kirby Reed.

A number of new stars have also been confirmed for the new Scream sequel, including Tony Revolori, Samara Weaving, Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Josh Segarra, Liana Liberato and Devyn Nekoda.

Sidney Prescott actress Neve Campbell won’t be returning, however, the star said: “As a woman, I’ve had to work extremely hard in my career to establish my worth, especially when it comes to Scream. I felt the offer presented to me did not match the value I brought to the franchise.”

The boys broadcast of season 3 on Amazon Prime Videowith new episodes premiering every Friday. Scream is out now Ultra-HD 4K, Blu-Ray and DVDor for download and keep. US viewers can also stream the new film on Paramount+.
