Judge orders couple to compensate their son for $ 45,000 after disposing of his “treasure trove of pornography and sex toys”

This Friday, a couple were ordered by a judge of the Court of the Western District of Michigan (USA) to pay $ 45,000, after being sued by her own son for disposing of her collection of pornography and sex articles, local media report.

David Werking, 43, temporarily returned to his parents’ house in Michigan after a failed marriage, taking his pornographic movies and magazines with him, which he left in hopes they would be delivered to him after moving to another State. However, their parents destroyed the material, for which the plaintiff filed a complaint to seek financial compensation for his lost property.

During the trial, Victoria Hartmann, a pornography expert hired by the defense, assessed the destroyed collection in $ 30,441. However, the specialist could not determine the price of 107 tracks, which were not included in the price, said the district judge handling the case, Paul Maloney.

After hearing the allegations presented by both parties, Maloney ordered the defendants, Beth and Paul Werking, to pay the amount indicated by the expert, as compensation for the destruction of the “treasure of pornography and a series sex toys ”. Likewise, he ordered them to pay 14,519.82 Dollars to his son’s lawyer, for a total of $ 45,000.

According to reports, David’s collection included “two boxes of sex toys” as well as 12 large boxes, the genre used when moving, “full of pornography”, with at least 1605 tracks DVD and VHS tapes, many of which, the Respondent noted, are “irreplaceable”.
