Dexter: new blood gets a killer DVD and Blu-ray Steelbook release.
The revival series of the classic TV thriller recently wrapped up its first season, bringing back Michael C. Hall as a murderer who hunts other serial killers.
With the episodes now wrapped up in a deadly finale, retailer Zavvi has announced release details for the show’s home video releases.
The standard DVD and Blu-ray versions will both be released on April 18 for £22.99 and £34.99, both having discounted prices for the pre-order period.

A Deluxe Blu-Ray Steelbook bundle will also be available in April, with the price reduced from £13.00 to £36.99 by clicking here.
This Steelbook version comes with a brand new glossy cover, as Dexter gets soaked in a shower of snow. The inner packaging features gruesome illustrations of Dexter chopping a log with his axe.
Several mini-documentaries are also included, including a short titled Why now? like a look why producers brought back Dexter after the much-maligned finale of its original series.
Another documentary examines the decision to bring back Jennifer Carpenter’s Deb given the purpose of her exit in the previous series.
