On your mind
The only participant in the Swedish individual championship, Pia Cramling, is the only leader after five rounds. Cramling has so far attracted Martin Lokander, Erik Blomqvist and Axel Smith. In round 2, she beat Michael Wiedenkeller with Black, while in round 4, she secured an impressive victory over Jung Min Seo.
In a fierce struggle, Cramling came out on top after taking advantage of the fact that her opponent had not exhausted their possibilities.
The position offers opportunities for both teams, and both players are playing for a win here.

The Swedish Chess Championships have been played since 1917. Pia Cramling first participated in 1981, when her brother Dan won the title. The only leader in this year’s edition played regularly afterwards, but never managed to win the title.
In the absence of Nils Grandelius and Hans Tikkanen, Tige Hillarp Persson is the favorite in the standings. However, he lost two games until round 5.
