Today is the day to go out and buy books in the great outdoors.
The Rotary Club of Chilliwack is holding its second outdoor book sale today (Saturday, August 28) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Most books cost from $ 1 to $ 5, and there is a selection of DVDs and discs as well.
“Being on the outside means there’s a lot of room for people to stretch out and get away from each other,” said Anita Rogers, manager of fundraising and grants for the club.
The Rotary Club of Chilliwack Outdoor Book Sale will be held Saturday, August 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rotary Service Building (44870 Wolfe Rd.) At the west end of Townsend Park. Free parking is available on the east side of the building.
