Well, you might be interested to learn that since the casting announcement of the new animated film Super Mario Bros. film, the classic live-action flick rose to the top of Amazon’s bestseller charts. It’s currently number three on the list, which is pretty impressive for a 28-year-old film.

The first two films on the cart are the F9 Blu-ray and DVD. I’m surprised people still buy regular DVDs these days!

The original film follows Brooklyn plumbers Mario and Luigi, played by Bob hoskins and Jean Leguizamo, who “receive the shock of a lifetime when they discover a parallel world populated by intelligent descendants of dinosaurs. It seems they weren’t destroyed by a meteor millions of years ago but thrown into another dimension and now they have plans to rule our world. It’s up to our unlikely heroes to fight the evil King Koopa and his Goomba guards, free the beautiful Princess Daisy and save humanity in this adventure of a lifetime.

I’ve included the movie trailer below to remind you how crazy this movie was. When was the last time you watched Super Mario Bros.?
