August 30 – Virden for a report that the appellant’s ex is not returning his TV, PlayStation 3 and DVD player to him. Police contacted the appellant’s ex and helped facilitate the return of the goods.
August 30 – Sioux Valley for a report of assault and threats. The victim said she was punched in the face. The investigation continues, an arrest warrant against the accused is requested.
Aug 30 – Sioux Valley for a report that a 10-year-old boy was assaulted by several teenage girls. The investigation is ongoing.
Aug 30 – Sioux Valley for a report that a very drunk 25-year-old man threw a machete at his brother. An arrest warrant against the accused is requested.
Aug 31 – Virden for a report that a gray 2018 Ford F150, Manitoba license plate CJH 841, was stolen overnight from the victim’s driveway. The doors were not locked and the keys were in the vehicle. The truck is currently in circulation.
Aug 31 – Sioux Valley for a report of a possible stabbing. It was reported that the victim appeared to have a sting on his face. When the victim was located by police, he said he was too drunk to remember what had happened.
Aug 31 – Received a report of allegations of child abuse at a residence of the RM of Sifton. The investigation is ongoing.
August 31 – Route 256 in the RM of Ellice-Archie for a collision report. The driver was located at the scene, lying in the ditch. As a result of the investigation, the driver was found to be impaired by alcohol. The vehicle was stopped for impaired driving of a conveyance. Due to the injuries to the driver of the vehicle, she was unable to provide breath samples and blood samples were therefore taken. The investigation is ongoing.
September 1 – Sioux Valley for a report of two intoxicated men with a machete knocking on the door accusing the owner of stealing cigarettes. The two men were located and arrested for weapons-related offenses. They were released the next morning with a future court date on the condition that they had no contact with the victim and did not come to the victim’s residence.
September 2 – Residence in the RM of Wallace-Woodworth for stolen golf cart report. The golf cart has been described as an old white Harley.
September 2 – A property in the RM of Wallace-Woodworth for a report of a stolen 1976 Plymouth. The vehicle was located / recovered by the Neepawa RCMP. The investigation is ongoing.
September 4 – Sioux Valley for a domestic assault report. The accused was walking on Highway 21 and was arrested for assault. The accused carried a machete in his holster, a black cartridge that appeared to be bear spray and a knife, and he was subsequently arrested for several weapons offenses. The accused was remanded in custody.
September 4 – RCMP in Melita for a report that two youths were damaging a bridge at Melita Golf Course. The youngster admitted to the incident.
September 5 – RCMP in Sioux Valley for a report of a fire in an abandoned residence. As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were both charged with arson and break and enter.
